Privacy Policy for My Feelings Wheel
This privacy policy applies to the My Feelings Wheel app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Kindcraft Apps (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Privacy First: The Service Provider does not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal data. All your feelings data stays on your device or in your personal Google Drive (if you choose to use the backup feature).
Google Integration: This app uses Google Sign-In and Google Drive API for optional backup functionality. No other Google data is accessed. The specific scope requested is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata, which is used only for storing encrypted backups in your personal Google Drive.
How Your Data is Stored
Local Storage (Default)
By default, all your data is stored locally on your device:
- Feelings you log with the wheel interface
- Comments and notes you add to feelings
- App settings and preferences
- Reminder settings
This data is encrypted and stored only on your device. The Service Provider has no servers, no databases, and no access to your data.
Google Drive Backup (Optional)
The Application offers an optional Google Drive backup feature that you can choose to enable:
- You sign in with your own Google account
- Your encrypted feelings data is backed up to your personal Google Drive
- Data is stored in a hidden "appDataFolder" in your Drive that only this Application can access
- Backups happen automatically after logging feelings or changing settings (while signed in)
- You can restore your data from your Google Drive when reinstalling the app or using a new device
Important: The Service Provider does NOT have access to your Google Drive or your backed-up data. The data exists only in your personal Google account.
What the Service Provider Does NOT Collect
The Service Provider does NOT collect, store, transmit, or have access to:
- Your feelings data
- Your personal information (name, email, phone number, address, etc.)
- Your location data
- Device identifiers for tracking
- Usage analytics or statistics
- Crash reports or diagnostic data
- Any personally identifiable information
Google Services Integration
Google Sign-In & Google Drive API
When you use the optional backup feature:
- Google Sign-In allows you to authenticate with your Google account

- The Application uses Google Drive API to read/write encrypted backup files to your personal Drive
- Scope requested:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata(used only for encrypted backups in the hidden appDataFolder)
Revoking Google Access
You can revoke the Application's access to your Google account at any time:
- Through the app: Go to Settings → Sign out of Google Drive
- Through Google: Visit Google Account permissions and remove "My Feelings Wheel"
Revoking access will stop automatic backups but will not delete your existing backups from your Google Drive.

Specifically:
- The Application only requests the minimum Google Drive API scope necessary (appDataFolder access)

- All data transferred through Google APIs is encrypted
Google's Privacy Policy: For information on how Google handles your data, please review Google's Privacy Policy.
